CPR for children is similar to performing standard CPR for adults.
There are 5 differences.
- If you are alone, Give 1 minute of CPR before calling 911
- Use the heel of one hand for chest compression’s
- Press the sternum down 1 to 1.5 inches
- Give chest compression’s at the rate of 100 per minute
- Give 1 full breath followed by 15 chest compression’s
